Monitoring Your GAME Plan Progress

Are you finding the information and resources you need?

I have found a good many resources that I need for my plan. There are many educational communities on the web that help support the use of technology in the classroom. They are full of new and interesting ideas that can be Incorporated some are simple and other more complex. Along with that I have found a few sites that stay up to date on developing technology that I have been monitoring. One of the biggest helps is a teacher in the school that has the same gaols as I do. With this person we are able to share resources and ideas.

Do you need to modify your action plan?

So far I believe my action plan is working well. One thing that I would like to able to do is develop a digital library where I can view the technologies being used for future reference. I feel this sometimes shows more detail then reading an article.

What have you learned so far?

To get what you want it takes a little research and asking around. Sometimes the best sources are the ones in your own building.

What new questions have arisen?

Is there away to get funding to demo new technologies in the school systems so that it does not have to come out of the school or teachers pocket?

  1. I think finding a teacher with simular goals is monumentaI, especially if both teachers are willing to be open with their resources and ideas. Too many teachers don't want to share or help other teachers, and their some teachers that don't want help from other teachers. But two heads are better than one. I teach three major subjects, and I'm always, and willing to team up with other teachers.
